- For best results, the first time you burn your candle, let it burn until
it is melted completely across the top. This prevents wax buildup on the
side of the jars.
- Keep your candle out of drafts, such as a fan or an open window. This
can also cause wax build up on the side.
- If the wick mushrooms or smokes, extinguish the flame gently, let the
candle set up and trim the wick.
- Always be sure the wick is trimmed to approximately 1/4 inch before
lighting.
- When you extinguish the flame, do it gently with a soft blow or a candle
extinguisher. Blowing hard can cause wax to spill over the sides.
- Keep your candle free of matches, wick trimmings or other flammable
materials.
- Do not move candle while burning or if wax is hot.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended!
